San Francisco, CA: No Starch Press is pleased to announce that two of its authors will be signing copies of their books at DEFCON 12. The show, the world’s largest underground hacking event, runs from July 30 to August 1 at the Alexis Park Resort in Las Vegas.
Jon Erickson will be signing copies of his best-selling book Hacking: The Art of Exploitation on Saturday, July 31 at 2 p.m. On Sunday August 1 at noon, Andrew “bunnie” Huang will be signing copies of Hacking the Xbox: An Introduction to Reverse Engineering.
Come meet the authors whose books have garnered praise from both the media and from readers. Phrack magazine called Erickson’s book the “most complete tutorial on hacking techniques. Finally a book that does not just show how to use the exploits but how to develop them.”
“A piece of simple, succinct eloquence, this has fast become one of the most treasured books we own,” wrote Jonathan Gromer on PopularMechanics.com, speaking about Hacking the Xbox.
